A Perfect Morning at the Brier Egg Hunt!

What a gift it was to wake up to a sunny, warm Saturday morning for the 2026 annual Brier Egg Hunt! The team at Brier Helping Brier had the pleasure of getting to see the smiling faces of many Brier residents, and we’re still riding the high of such a wonderful community event!

This yearly Easter event is organized by the Brier Parks Board, and we were grateful to be invited to be part of the fun. We enjoyed the sun while handing out fliers containing local resources for families, and were honored to receive several donations supporting our work.

And then, the main event: a swarm of kids descended on Brier Park, stashing hundreds of bright eggs in their baskets. But the real showstopper? The Easter Bunny himself arrived in a firetruck, escorted by the flashing lights of a Brier police car. It was a moment of pure childhood magic.

Beyond the candy and chaos, this was a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness about what we do. We were able to answer questions, share our mission, and spread the news about some of our exciting future fundraisers.

All in all, it was more than an egg hunt. It was a reminder that community happens when we show up for one another.
